Flagship Event: Green Season 2026

Dates: April 15 – May 30, 2026 · Location: Rhode Island, USA · Goals: Plant 10,000 trees, create 5 eco-friendly community hubs, mobilize 500 volunteers.

More than a tree-planting campaign, Green Season 2026 is a community journey to connect people and places. Each planted tree receives a simple ID for multi-year care tracking.

Campaign Timeline

Jan 15 – Mar 31, 2026 — Kickoff & Fundraising: outreach, volunteer sign-ups, seedlings & supplies secured.
Apr 1 – Apr 14, 2026 — Prep & Training: team leads trained; sites prepared; logistics allocated.
Apr 15 – May 20, 2026 — Main Planting: five priority sites planted with community participation.
May 21 – May 27, 2026 — Green Connection Week: talks, recycling fair, and photo exhibition.
May 28 – May 30, 2026 — Close & Recognition: results published; “Green Sower” certificates issued; care plan announced.
Best planting windows for Rhode Island are spring (late April–early June) and fall (September–early November). Our dates align with the spring window for strong root establishment.
